The agendas for the Scottish Tourism Week regional meetings were industry led, with formats developed by local businesses. At this meeting, chaired by Kevin Keenan, (General Manager of Dryburgh Abbey Hotel and a director of the Scottish Tourism Forum), industry speakers highlighted the business point of view while public sector speakers from VisitScotland, Scottish Enterprise and local authorities explain how they can support business growth

This event was organised to channel local industry views into the Scottish Tourism Week national industry conference which was held in Edinburgh on Wednesday 14th March and to provide clear messages to the Scottish Executive and all political parties.
