Tuesday 4th March - Queen Forest Park exploration (by Aberfoyle)
Come to David Marshall Lodge at Aberfoyle and see the jewel in the crown of the National Park. Forestry Commission Scotland will be running a day of Scottish Tourism Week activities; including light lunch and light supper - you can stay for the whole day, or book onto one or two activities only.
On offer: an overview of forest adventure in the Forest Park and David Marshall Lodge, followed by a look at some wildlife highlights with one of FCS's experts and a ranger-led walk around the waterfall trail. In addition, you can book onto any or all of the following activities: Go Ape! - the full 3 hour experience, or just the buzz of the longest zip line in the UK; boat trip on Loch Katrine; Yoga in the forest (well, in the panoramic function room at the Lodge) and stargazing (weather permitting).

Thursday 6th March - Tweed Valley Forest Park discovery (by Peebles)
The Scottish Borders Forestry Commission Scotland team will introduce you to Glentress, a mountain bike mecca with much, much more to offer.
The day starts by visiting Osprey/Watch to hear 2007's success stories and look forward to 2008's continued partnership with Kailizie Gardens, along with an insight into the development plans for the Glentress visitor experience. There will be the opportunity to get on a bike and try the green (easy) trail - or choose a harder trail if you're more experienced! Rangers will take you on a walk/drive round Glentress Forest, too the reconstruction roundhouse and ancient bronze age village site, and you'll get a light lunch and time for chat, before getting back on the trails, going back to work or off to get ready for the STW gala dinner in Glasgow that evening.
