STW Industry Dinner

The Tourism industry dinner took place during Scottish Tourism Week to celebrate achievements of the sector. The high-profile event had a chic, contemporary theme in keeping with the dynamic waterfront setting of the Glasgow Science Centre (pictured right). The event was a huge success and was enjoyed by all that attended.
John Swinney, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth, openned the evening.
The evening was a successful networking opportunity as well as a glamorous, enjoyable occasion. The Pokey Hats (pictured left), a totally unconventional pipe band who are five guys with bagpipes, drums, a sense of humour and pride in their national identity, ensured the atmosphere was lively.
Mr Peter Taylor, Cabinet Minsiter for Finance, Mr John Swinney and Mr Iain Herbert all enjoyed the Industry Dinner.
