LAWRENCE DURDEN, SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SCOTLAND, MANAGER FOR THE TOURISM SECTOR
Lawrence recently took up post as manager responsible for supporting the Tourism sector within Skills Development Scotland.
Graduating with a BA degree in Hotel and Catering Management from the Scottish Hotel School in 1983 Lawrence then spent 10 years working within hospitality management in Scotland and Wales.
For the last 17 years Lawrence has worked within the field of careers guidance with Careers Scotland and latterly SDS, primarily working with adults to identify and build their strengths and develop their career planning skills.
For the last 4 years he has managed the delivery of SDS services in Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire.
