Keith Muir
Employed by FCS for fourteen years. Seven years in Fort William as Recreation Manager in Galloway since April 2004 as Head of Tourism. Previously with the grants and licences department of FCS Highlands and Cawdor estates. In Fort William I was part of the team that brought the Mountain Bike World Cup to Scotland and here in Galloway I spear head a number of new initiatives such as the UK's first Dark Sky Park and on the board of the 7stanes.
Worked abroad for 6 years which included running my own Scuba Diving business in Australia off the Whitsunday islands. Running youth hostels both in Scotland and New Zealand.
A keen amateur photographer and now astronomer I am married with 3 children and a dog living in Newton Stewart.
