Catherine Bunn, Proprietor, Highland Campervans
Catherine founded Highland Campervans in 2007 after identifying a gap in the market for quality campervan hire in the Scottish Highlands.
Having been sponsored by the Royal Air Force during her time at Swansea University, Catherine graduated with a BSc in Business Studies. After an active career as a Flight Operations Officer in the RAF, Catherine made a lifestyle change to have a family and establish Highland Campervans.
Her business has grown year on year – paced with the balance of raising two boys – now aged 2 and 3.5yrs. Catherine’s husband Stephen has also joined the Highland Campervans team full time, allowing the business to expand again into servicing and repairs, making it a truly family business.
A keen hill walker and general outdoor pursuits enthusiast, Catherine loves to find time to relax in the Highlands.
Catherine is an active member of the Federation of Small Businesses and was instrumental in founding the recently established trade association CaMPA (Campervan and Motorhome Professional Association) which aims to promote this rapidly expanding sector in a positive and sustainable way.
