HIE and STF E-Tourism Workshop Series Oct 07 - March 08
HIE and STF have been running a new series of instructor led e-tourism workshops designed specifically for tourism businesses. The aim is to help your business utilise the full benefits of the information economy.

Tourism E-Business Roadshows
19th April - 1st Nov 2007: STF's popular web workshops, supported by Scottish Enterprise, took place across Scotland. Suitable for everyone, from web novices to the internet friendly, these great value events were extremely popular with delegates.

 E-Commerce Roadshows, Highlands and Islands
23 Jan - 30 March 2007: STF's popular series of web workshops took place aross the Highlands at the beginning of the year and received fantastic feedback, from businesses who attended.

5th Dec 2006. Macdonald Inchyre Grange Hotel: STF explored how businesses could profitably achieve the 50% growth ambitions outlined in the Tourism Framework for Change. View info on this popular industry meeting.
Scotland's Strategic Future: Tourism
20th November 2006, De Vere Cameron House, Loch Lomond: View info on this strategic policy event where delegates worked together to identify how the industry can achieve the objective of a 50% growth in tourism revenue and also discussed the barriers to tourism growth.
Tourism Framework for Change™
7th March 2007: launch of The Tourism Framework for Change strategy. Former Tourism Minister Patricia Ferguson and Peter Taylor, Chair of the Scottish Tourism Forum, outlined new industry led actions that will help to achieve 50 per cent growth in tourism revenue by 2015.
Scottish Tourism Week 2006
27th to 31st March 2006:  the Forum launched the first Scottish Tourism Week - a series of events across the country designed to raise the profile of tourism as Scotland's most important and sustainable industry, and awareness of opportunities for Scottish businesses.
