- Tourism E-Business Roadshows
- 19 April - 24 May 2007: STF's popular web workshops, supported by Scottish Enterprise, are now timetabled across Scotland. Be sure to book your place at these invaluable events which will show your business how to make more money from the internet. - Ancestral tourism training
- 'Ancestral tourism training' days explore the motivation and characteristics of 'Ancestral Tourists', national and local ancestral research resources, how to get further information on aspects of ancestral tourism, and build confidence in giving accurate information to visitors.

- E-Commerce Roadshows, Highlands and Islands
- 23 Jan - 30 March 2007: STF's popular series of web workshops took place aross the Highlands at the beginning of the year and received fantastic feedback, from businesses who attended.
- STF Open Meeting
- 5 Dec 2006. STF held a very successful industry meeting at the Macdonald Inchyra Grange hotel where we explored how businesses could profitably achieve the 50% growth ambitions outlined in the Tourism Framework for Change. Delegates also heard of potential problems with the Licensing Act (Scotland) 2005 from the BII's Janet Hood and of the exciting forthcoming programme of events during Highland 2007 from Marketing Manager Alison Bell.
- Tourism Framework for Change™
- The 'Tourism Framework for Change' was launched on 7th March 2006. Tourism Minister Patricia Ferguson and Peter Taylor, Chair of the Scottish Tourism Forum, outlined new industry led actions that will help to achieve 50 per cent growth in tourism revenue by 2015.
- Scottish Tourism Week 2006
- From 27 to 31 March the Forum introduced a week of events across the country to raise the profile of tourism as Scotland's most important and sustainable industry, and awareness of opportunities for Scottish businesses.
